Us
The Nós Por Elas (NPE) Institute originated from an international mobilization in 2021 to rescue Afghan female judges threatened by the Taliban regime. Building on that experience, it evolved into a non-profit civil society organization dedicated to promoting women’s rights and combating all forms of gender-based violence.
Our mission is to build a safer, fairer, and more egalitarian society for women by fostering collaboration among civil society, government bodies, the private sector, and institutions. We work to prevent violence, strengthen public policies, drive cultural change, and encourage the adoption of best practices for women’s protection.
Key initiatives include the creation—in partnership with ABNT—of Brazil’s first certification for best practices in combating violence against women (ABNT PR 1019), as well as contributing to the development of a proposed international standard on the subject within the ISO framework.
The Institute also develops high-impact social awareness campaigns, participates in shaping public policies, monitors legislative bills, engages in national hearings and forums, and plays an active role before the Supreme Federal Court as *amicus curiae* in cases crucial to guaranteeing women’s rights.
Operating with a technical, independent, and evidence-based approach, Nós Por Elas believes that combating violence against women is a collective responsibility. Therefore, we work to transform organizations, strengthen institutions, and help create environments that are safer, more inclusive, and respectful for all women.

As the creator of the “Red Signal” (*Sinal Vermelho*) campaign and the *Nós Por Elas* Institute, she also dedicates her career to developing policies, projects, and initiatives aimed at combating violence against women, promoting gender equality, and strengthening protection networks. Her leadership inspires the Institute’s strategic work on a national level.

Internationally recognized for her human rights advocacy, she uses her personal story and public profile to raise societal awareness, encourage the reporting of abuse, and promote respect, dignity, and autonomy for women. As an Ambassador for the Nós Por Elas Institute, she strengthens the promotion of the cause and expands the reach of the institution’s initiatives.
A lawyer, professor, and speaker with a nationwide presence in the fields of legal management, strategic communication, and institutional leadership. As President of the *Instituto Nós Por Elas*, she leads the development of projects aimed at preventing and combating violence against women, promoting equal opportunities, and strengthening a culture of protection and respect for women. She coordinates efforts with public, private, and third-sector institutions, fostering social impact initiatives and the certification of best practices.
Responsible for the administrative management and operational support of the activities of the Instituto Nós Por Elas. This role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring internal processes, contributing to the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of the institution’s initiatives. The work ensures strengthened governance and the execution of initiatives aligned with the Institute’s mission.
